The Greatness of Our God

It’s impossible for us to fully comprehend the awesome power of our God. Our God is infinite, he is unchangeable, he is everything we need and more. He is all powerful, all knowing, and always everywhere.

“Great is the Lord, and highly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable.” Psalm 145:3

There is no other. Our God is full of perfect, unchanging wisdom. He is a constant source of truth. God’s love is never ending. Our God is compassionate, kind, and the essence of justice. Our God is gracious, holy, and glorious to behold.

“For the Lord your God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God.” Deuteronomy 10:17

Every good and perfect gift comes from God. Our God is the ultimate source of all good things. Every positive aspect of our lives is a blessing from God. As we go through our day, we should continuously praise God for all that he provides. Even when we face adversity, there is hope in knowing our God is in complete control. In the end, everything will be made right. Our God is the ultimate ruler of all creation.

“Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.” 1 Chronicles 29:11

Let the whole world sing Glory Hallelujah to the greatness of our God. Praise God for sending his Son to provide salvation and eternal life. Praise God for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. He reigns forever in awesome wonder. Our God has walked with us since the dawn of creation and will remain our guide and protector throughout eternity.
