Jesus

Knowing Jesus is all about letting go of yourself and trusting your Creator to guide you.

“Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”  Colossians 3:16 (NASB)

Let this be a time of worship to God.  Pray each prayer and add your own personal message to God.  Read each scripture as though reading it for the first time – listen carefully for the voice of God.  Listen to each song paying close attention to the lyrics provided.  These songs were carefully chosen.  Even if the music is not your favorite style of music, know that the musicians performing are sincerely making music to the Lord.  Try to feel the passion in their words and their musical expression.  Give thought to the message presented and confirm the truth therein by opening your Bible and taking some time to do your own personal study.  May you be greatly blessed.

Let’s Pray Together

Heavenly Father, we stand in your presence in awe of your awesome power and love.  We seek that which is your will in our lives and look forward to the return of your Son Jesus Christ.  Please Father, wrap your arms around each of us and provide for us all of our needs.  Forgive us Father, for all of our mistakes and failures in our pursuit of righteousness.  Develop in us the ability to also forgive those who disrupt our lives.  Open our eyes Father, to the enemy who is in pursuit of our souls.  Let us see clearly the evil trying to control our lives so that we can avoid destruction.  We offer this prayer in the Holy name of Jesus.  Amen.

Jesus

Knowing Jesus is all about letting go of yourself and trusting your Creator to guide you.  Once you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior by placing your faith in his death and resurrection, you are blessed with the Holy Spirit taking up residence in your heart.  As a believer, you are no longer a slave to your over-active mind; you now are safely in the arms of Jesus.  It is your unquestioning child-like faith that will carry you through any and all of life’s challenges.

“Permit the children to come to Me; do not hinder them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all.” And He took them in His arms and began blessing them, laying His hands on them.”  Mark 10:14-16 (NASB)

It doesn’t matter if you are five years old or ninety-five years old; as a follower of Jesus, you are a child of God.  You have been born again into the loving arms of Jesus.  You have joined your eternal family in the kingdom of God.

“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.”  John 1:12-13 (NASB)

The world we live in is a constant source of trials and tribulations.  Praise be to God for sending his Son to save us.  We now have rest from this world in the arms of Jesus.

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.”  Matthew 11:28 (NASB)

Let this song fill your spirit.

In the Arms – Terrian

The Love of Jesus

The love Jesus has for you is indeed the greatest love of all.  Our response to that great love should be to share it with others at every opportunity.

“This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.”  John 15:12-13 (NASB)

Jesus demonstrated his great love by laying down his life to remove our sins.  As believers, we are so familiar with this understanding we sometimes neglect to feel the enormous weight of that love.  We have been blessed beyond measure.  We have been fully immersed in love.  The evidence of our conversion is our own efforts to share that love.

“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.”  1 John 4:7 (NASB)

When we take the time to worship Jesus and sing his praises, we acknowledge the great gift he has given us.  When we rest in his loving arms we separate ourselves from this world and take refuge in the awesomeness of our Creator.

“Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith”  Hebrews 12:1-2 (NASB)

Stand firm in your faith.  Seek opportunities to be alone with Jesus.  Worship his holy name.

Let the song fill your heart.

Nobody Loves Me Like You – Chris Tomlin

Morning, I see You in the sunrise every morning

It’s like a picture that You’ve painted for me

A love letter in the sky

Story, I could’ve had a really different story

But You came down from heaven to restore me

Forever saved my life

Nobody loves me like You love me, Jesus

I stand in awe of Your amazing ways

I worship You as long as I am breathing

God, You are faithful and true

Nobody loves me like You

Mountains, You’re breaking down the weight of all my mountains

Even when it feels like I’m surrounded

You never leave my side, oh oh oh

Nobody loves me like You love me, Jesus

I stand in awe of Your amazing ways

I worship You as long as I am breathing

God, You are faithful and true

Nobody loves me like You

Oh, what a song to sing

Oh, what a song to sing

Oh, what a song to sing

Oh, what a song (my heart keeps singing)

Oh, what a song to sing (what a song)

Oh, what a song to sing (I’ll never stop)

Oh, what a song to sing

Jesus, You love me

And I love You, God

Nobody loves me like You love me, Jesus

I stand in awe of Your amazing ways

I worship You as long as I am breathing

God, I will worship You, forever worship You

Nobody loves me like You love me, Jesus

I stand in awe of Your amazing ways

I worship You as long as I am breathing

God, You are faithful and true

Nobody loves me like You

Nobody loves me like You love me, Jesus (I’m a child of God)

I stand in awe of Your amazing ways (yes, I am)

Nobody loves me like You

Nobody loves me like You

Friend of Jesus

When we follow the teachings of Jesus to love God with all of our heart and to love our neighbor as ourselves, we become his friend.

“You are My friends if you do what I command you.”  John 15:14 (NASB)

As a friend of Jesus, all of our sins have been washed away, nevermore to be remembered.

“As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.”  Psalm 103:12 (NASB)

When we walk with our friend Jesus, he always offers to carry our load.  We can place our burdens on his shoulders and rest assured we are in good hands.

“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”  Matthew 11:29-30 (NASB)

Nobody loves us like Jesus.  There is no better friend than Jesus.  His heart is our home forever.

Let this song speak to your heart.
