Good Good Father

We all have a perfect heavenly father who loves us and cares for us every moment of every day.  As believers, we sometimes get caught up in this world and waste a lot of time worrying about how we will solve our own problems.  The truth is, God is in control.  When we look back at our lives, it is clear that God has always been there lovingly resolving every issue that we confront.

“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.”  Psalm 34:8

Those who have trusted Jesus as their Lord and Savior are recognized as children of God.  This special relationship provides us with guidance through the Holy Spirit.  As a result, God’s love flows out of our heart as we experience His presence.  That outpouring of love is clear evidence that a person knows God.

“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.”  1 John 4:7

Our Father in heaven is as solid as a rock.  His strength is unbounded.  He is the one and only.  He is perfect in every way.  He is fully aware of our every need and continuously supplies all that is required.  We find peace when we rest in His arms.

“He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just.  A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.”  Deuteronomy 32:4

Once you have found God, all the searching in life is over.  Your loving Father is always with you pointing the way.  God is good and His love endures forever.  As believers, our identity is permanently established as children of God.  How blessed we are to have such a good, good, Father.
