The goal here is to provide you with enough information to make an informed decision when selecting a faith-based movie to watch. These faith-based movie reviews start by offering a brief synopsis of the story so that you’ll know exactly what to expect. The second half of these faith-based movie reviews is a subjective point of view designed to give you some idea of the quality and effectiveness of the storytelling.
Obviously, we all have varying tastes when it comes to movies. What I like, may be very different than what you like. For that reason, I do my best to tell you what worked for me and what didn’t work for me in each film, followed by the reasons I believe things did or didn’t work. Hopefully, with that information in hand, you’ll be able to decipher how your own point of view will respond to the film.
My faith-based movie reviews are intended to help you find a movie you’ll enjoy watching. I’m not operating as a film critic here, I’m an entertainment facilitator. Two hours is a long time to spend going off in the wrong direction. And if you’re spending money to rent a film, you don’t want to invest in a bad time.
I’m of the opinion that a bad ending can totally spoil an otherwise good film. With that in mind, I like to give the whole story in my reviews without leaving much out; of course the details on exactly how things happen is left out, but I normally do give away the ending.
The bottom line is I’m hoping to protect you from throwing your money away on something you don’t like, and from spending a couple of hours wishing you were someplace else. These faith-based movie reviews should give you enough information to prepare you for what you’re about to watch without any negative surprises.
