All the People said Amen

Every one of us endures difficult times, some more than others.  It doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor, our lives in this world are filled with events that challenge our patience, endurance, and commitment to trust God.  When we turn our lives over to God, and trust in the salvation provided by Jesus, we are placed on a path toward victory.  That doesn’t mean life will be suddenly easy.  It means life has a new purpose.  No matter what happens, God will be with you every step of the way.  Every struggle that comes your way is prescribed by a loving God that is using that event to strengthen you in body, mind, and spirit.

“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”  Isaiah 41:10 (NASB)

You Are Forgiven

The key to our walk with Jesus, is to constantly reflect on His life and follow the simple two part instruction that he provided:  Love God with all your heart.  Love your neighbor as yourself.  There are no other rules we need to memorize.  When our lives are propelled by love, it’s impossible to stumble.  Of course, we have an enemy who keeps trying to use the complexity of this world to push us off track.  He will be successful from time to time.  Don’t worry.  God is waiting with open arms to forgive you.  All you have to do is ask.

“Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.”  Ephesians 4:32 (NASB)

You Are a Child of God

As a follower of Jesus Christ, you are a child of God.  God wants us to remain His children forever, totally dependent on Him.  When we trust God, rather than our own achievements, abilities, or income, we demonstrate our commitment to Him.  It is that child-like faith that keeps us humble before God and pointed in the right direction.

“But Jesus called for them, saying, “Permit the children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”  Luke 18:16 (NASB)

Praise God for His undying love!  Praise God for sending His Son!  Praise God for our salvation!  Demonstrate your sincere appreciation for our God by sharing his love with others and pointing the lost toward Jesus.
